  • You need to convert SketchUp model to STEP format (STP), IGES, DWG when you want to share your design with other engineering or CAD software that natively supports STEP files, enabling seamless integration and collaboration across different design disciplines, as SketchUp alone cannot directly open or fully utilize complex STEP/IGS data without additional conversion or plugins for manufacturing.
